A beta needs a testable question
Error Solis has a long-term universe behind it, but the first public test is deliberately smaller: does flying and fighting feel good on an Android phone? That question can be answered now without pretending the later online economy and persistent universe already exist.
The current build connects full-3D flight, cannon and missile combat, recovery, stations, a market, progression and thirty linked regions. The final flight-feel gate still needs players outside development.
The website had to reach the form faster
The mobile recruitment pass reduced the public bundle, converted heavy images to WebP, deferred below-fold work and made Join beta a fixed 48-pixel action. Opening the tester route now skips thousands of pixels of manual scrolling and loads Turnstile only near the form.
The form stores applications in Cloudflare D1 before sending a private notification. Analytics measures anonymous navigation and successful submissions only after consent; it never receives tester email, callsign, device text or answers.
Traffic is not the same as interest
Cloudflare sees every scanner, automated probe and asset request. Google Analytics sees only consenting browser sessions. Social platforms count views differently again. The useful scorecard therefore keeps each signal separate and asks whether a post produces profile interest, a website session, a tester-form start or a qualified application.
That boundary matters for an early project. A small honest sample can improve the game; inflated traffic cannot.
What happens next
The next public work is consistent proof: short original gameplay, memorial-ship stories and factual build notes like this one. Each piece gets one action rather than a stack of competing requests.
Open beta still has no announced date. Tester applications are open now so future rounds can include a useful mix of Android devices and player priorities.
